Palazzo Fuga was designed by the architect Ferdinando Fuga, and construction began in 1751. It is five stories tall and approximately 354 m long. It was popularly known as "Palazzo Fuga." King Charles III of the House of Bourbon meant the facility to house the destitute and ill and provide a self-sufficient community where the poor could live, learn trades, and work. The massive hospice housed over 5000 persons at one time. The building is the center of Naples, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Royal Botanical Garden was established in 1807 thanks to a decree issued by Giuseppe Bonaparte. It’s an authentic temple of nature. Here, you can breathe a heavenly atmosphere, in close contact with the most diverse plant species. The Royal Botanical Garden also houses a department of the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences of the University Federico II. Its 12 hectares preserves 25,000 plant specimens belonging to 9,000 botanical species.

Another attraction of the interior is the Royal Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro.
